A quick hike to an incredible view of Golden! From the trailhead linked, you can walk to downtown Golden, which has a wide variety of restaurants, breweries, cafes, and shopping. Colorado School of Mines (best school of this side of the Mississippi) is also within walking distance.
See where Moira grew up! Downtown Littleton is a cute downtown area, with lots of fun stores and resturants. Near it is South Platte trail, if youre in the mood to take a stroll along the E. coli river (it is beautiful though just do not get in). We highly recommend Lucille's for breakfast, lotka love for a snack, Dirt for coffee, and Breckenridge Brewery for dinner.
Need we say more?

The Denver Botanical Gardens are pretty close to the venue if you are staying nearby. This Garden is so well done and you can learn a lot about Colorado's natural plants!
Wash park is a fun loop to walk in Denver, a great place to relax, and from there you can find nearby restaurants. This is closer to the venue than some other options listed if you want to stay nearby. There is a Trader Joe's close you could do a lil picnic.
Tennyson Street is a cute area to get good food, shop, thrift, and walk around a Denver neighborhood. There are some lakes you can lap as well!
A great drive up into the mountains from Golden. A good way to see the mountains without going too far is there is a time crunch.
Cute area, fun to walk around, and can get a lot of places from here. Added because its. a classic Denver picture you may have seen.
